Supporting children and families across the UK through cancer treatment with practical help and creative experiences.

Discover how we support children and their families suffering from the devastating effects of childhood cancer.
Our one-to-one storytelling sessions take children beyond the reality of treatment, using imagination and creativity to support their mental health and wellbeing. Delivered in hospitals across the UK, these sessions provide comfort, distraction and something positive to look forward to during difficult days.
Our pottery sessions give young patients and their families the opportunity to express themselves creatively and create something meaningful to keep during their time in care, helping to reduce anxiety, build confidence, and provide a positive, therapeutic distraction from treatment.
We provide vital financial and practical support to families of children with primary bone cancer, helping to ease the pressures of treatment. From travel and accommodation to essential equipment and communication tools, our support ensures families can focus on what matters most, being together during an incredibly difficult time.
Henry Dancer Days was established in memory of 12-year-old Henry Dancer by his mum, Jane.
After a year of treatment for osteosarcoma, Henry sadly passed away in 2010. His experiences inspired the creation of the charity to support children and families facing the challenges of cancer.
Today, his legacy lives on through comfort, creativity and support to families across the UK.
